Inested (part of Inested LLC, US-based) was born out of the experiences of professors and former students in finding and filling research positions. Our platform facilitates connections between research professors and potential graduate students and post-doctoral candidates. Our platform strives to match students with professors based on personalized research interests and other preferences. Additionally, we provide opportunities for students to stay informed about university programs and openings, while offering career advice and mentorship from professors and industry experts. The platform also serves as a hub for scholarships, internships, new grad jobs from universities, companies, and individuals.

Salam Ibrahim, Ph.D
Member of the Board of Trustees
Dr. Salam Ibrahim is a distinguished professor with extensive experience in dairy microbiology and functional foods. He has contributed significantly to food science with numerous publications and has received accolades for his research excellence. Dr. Ibrahim is committed to advancing food technology and safety.

Reza Tahergorabi, Ph.D
Member of the Board of Trustees
Dr. Reza Tahergorabi is an associate professor of food science at NC A&T State University, specializing in food processing and packaging. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. Dr. Tahergorabi is a lifetime member of Phi Tau Sigma and a professional member of IFT. He has received multiple awards for research excellence and serves on the editorial boards of several food science journals.

Daniel Ananey-Obiri, Ph.D
Member of the Board of Trustees
Daniel Ananey-Obiri is a Software Engineer specializing in AI/ML with a PhD in Computational Data Science and Engineering. His research interests encompass AI/ML, Software Engineering, and Bioinformatics. He has an extensive publication record, including numerous papers and book chapters across various fields, reflecting his diverse educational background. Additionally, he is the founder of Nudiance, a marketplace app.
Akamu Jude Ewunkem, Ph.D
Member of the Board of Trustees
Dr. Akamu Jude Ewunkem is a highly respected academic and researcher with a focus on nanoengineering biology. He is an Assistant Professor at Winston-Salem State University and completed his PhD in nanoengineering. He has a strong publication record and has been recognized for his contributions to nutritional sciences. Dr. Ekwume’s expertise supports the board in making informed, research-driven decisions.

Alison Bainbridge, MA
Senior Director of Strategic and Institutional Partnerships
Alison Bainbridge is a dynamic professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Houston-Downtown. Her career has been driven by a passion for nonprofit work and a deep understanding of the critical role education plays in transforming individual lives and communities. As a bilingual leader, Alison has spoken at numerous events, engaging diverse audiences ranging from 30 to 200 attendees, and consistently advocating for the importance of outreach and community engagement. Her experience spans working with underserved populations, including the homeless and at-risk youth and adults, where she has developed, implemented, and evaluated impactful programs that address the unique needs of these communities. Alison has a proven track record in community outreach, strategic planning, and program management within the nonprofit sector, where she has successfully built strong relationships with stakeholders.
